The associate degree Nursing program provides opportunities for students to develop a sound theoretical and clinical foundation for the practice of professional (registered) nursing. The program prepares graduates to be advocates and health educators for patients, families and communities and to work collaboratively with physicians. Graduates are awarded an Associate in Science degree in Nursing and are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN).
